Creamy and Herby Shrimp and Grits

Nothing could be simpler than these cheesy, creamy grits, topped with shrimp and fresh herbs.  It's a gourmet meal in no time. 

Cook grits according to directions. (I made 4 servings).

Add 4 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup pepper jack, 1/2 c. sour cream, 2 T. half and half. And salt, to taste. 

Shrimp: Saute' in skillet with a little oil and butter, about a pound of uncooked shrimp. Fresh herbs I used - rosemary, parsley, oregano, basil. Also had some smokey spice from an herb place, so I sprinkled that in. 

Put grits on plate, and shrimp on top...drizzle with TackSauce.  :-) Always TackSauce.
